CoE Data Discovery Request Form
The Data Discovery service is primarily intended for the discovery of customer infrastucture of new solutions sales opportunities that drive Hitachi Vantara and partner revenue. Delivered by a team with global responsibilities, the discovery service requests are approved and prioritized based on criteria which ensure availability of resources aligned to appropriate sales motions and revenue generation activities. These criteria are summarized below:
- Compelling Event for Data Discovery use:
- New Customer Prospect – Opportunity
- Existing Customer – New Sales Opportunity
- Current Environment:
- Is the current environment supported by IDA? See support matrix v3.1
- Will the customer allow the environment meta-data to be securely uploaded to the Data Discovery cloud portal?
The Data Discovery solution is not intended to be used for the following:
- Solution to filling a Professional Services pre/post-sales solutions gap
- Solution to bring infrastructure visibility for Customer SAT or Customer performance problem resolution
- Solution to resolve infrastructure tools shortcomings
